Bio-based fibres provide an alternative to petroleum derived products such as virgin nylon. Using bio-based fibres reduces C02 emissions during production versus virgin nylon. ASTM D6866-18 shows 9% bio-based carbon content. Bio-based polyester yarn is certified by the USDA.
